Currently, there are six agencies in Massachusetts with a similar mission. Downtown Framingham was selected as our site because there is no agency within twenty miles and none serving the western suburbs from Boston to Worcester.
The national financial crisis has trickled to the state level and is rapidly spreading across the Commonwealth. As low-income adults try to rebuild their lives their first priority is quality employment and this has caused an increased demand on our program. As disadvantaged men and women try to balance the stress of searching for new employment with the financial pressures of housing and feeding their families, local service agencies are helping to ease the burden by partnering with A Suitable Image. With more than 75 agencies in Middlesex and Worcester counties referring clients, our free services continue to reach more adults in need.
A Suitable Image can help countless men and women who otherwise will not have the opportunity to successfully re-enter the mainstream of working society.
